Gary Lightbody et les Snow Patrol ont publié lundi leur sixième album, “Fallen Empires”, qui entame un virage en douceur vers l’électro.

Ce sixième album des Irlandais d’Ecosse est né dans la douleur, voyant le groupe partagée entre ses envies de gloire (avec des mélodies fortes à la Coldplay) et un fond plus sophistiqué (pour ne pas dire alternatif). Du coup, l’ensemble est comme désincarné, déséquilibré. Le prochain album est déjà annoncé au travers du titre « Broken bottles form a star ». T.C.

Snow Patrol sera par ailleurs à la Lotto Arena d’Anvers le 29 février 2012. Prévente dès ce vendredi.
